April 17th marked the SF Planning Department’s official initiation of the Eastern Neighborhoods Plan before the San Francisco Planning Commission. While timing for the Plan’s final approval is still unknown, the 900 Folsom and 260 5th project will be designed to conform to the Plan, and in some cases meeting or exceeding some of the Plan’s more stringent guidelines, such as those relating to alleyway setbacks and retail ceiling heights at the ground level. This past weekend Avant sponsored the planting of over 60 trees along the Tehama and Clementina alleyways. The weather cooperated, and a fun, productive afternoon was had by all. Staci and Jesse take a break for a photo, below.
